Atlas therapy is based on centering the first cervical vertebra of the atlas and mobilizing its joints, partly using the Swiss method of mechanical adjustment AtlasPROfilax, partly using chiropractic impulse techniques and osteopathic mobilization techniques for treating the upper cervical spine.
The treatment begins with a medical history, orthopedic tests if necessary, osteopathic evaluation, preparation of the locomotor system using mobilization techniques, then the atlas is centered using the AtlasPROfilax machine method, followed by chiropractic release and treatment of the neck, spine, and pelvis using impulse techniques, and finally osteopathy as integration.
The treatment is done in one session or, exceptionally, in two to three sessions if necessary, and it is advisable to repeat it several times during your life.
